Here is an undated Stratocaster slab neck that has had a tough life. It comes with string tree and tuner ferrules. The decals have been removed but an impression and lacquer shadow can be seen but is hard to see in the photos. A couple of photos capture this partially. This is the body of a Stratocaster that I bought about 20 years ago. It looks like a vintage Strat body but the body is mahogany. My understanding is that during the early 1960??s Fender built custom mahogany bodied guitars per special order. But my impression is that they were typically finished sunburst. This is not sunburst.

This is a set of single line Kluson Deluxe tuners off of an undated Fender slab Stratocaster neck. They come with 7 original screws. The ferrules are not included. This auction is for an original early 1970's Fender Stratocaster left-handed tremolo arm. This tremolo arm is part of some my old guitar "part's stash " . If it's vintage, new, or new old stock (NOS) guitar or bass parts you are looking for, this site will help you in your search. You can either browse through items for sale by model or by the part-type; ideal for parts that are found on several different guitars.
Modern day Fenders are made in America, Japan and Mexico - with the cheapest guitars having cheaper components. Consider swapping out the guitars bridge, pickup, tuners, wiring, or even neck to improve performance. What about adding a Bigsby vibrato? Or for a more individual guitar, replace the scratchplate. Customising is easy when parts are widely available!
Quality vintage electric guitars and basses, like American Fenders can have huge values, especially with all the original parts. 50s Esquire, Broadcaster, Telecaster and Stratocaster guitars and Precision basses are very much worth restoring, as are 1960s models like the Jaguar, Jazzmaster, Bass V, Bass VI, and Jazz bass.
Later models are still highly collectable, with pretty much all pre-1980s instruments having respectable price-tags. Finding original replacement parts is the most desirable solution with vintage Fenders.
