los mic son excelemtes pero.....

They chug
I was looking for a set of pups for my VB300. I use some pedals and high output or hot pups just make them noisy and not able to make the sounds like they are supposed too. I was also wanting a warner sound that was also more articulate. I watched the bridge comparison video on SD web site while wearing head phones and decided on the Pegasus. The sentient was and added bonus. This set is well balanced and offers good output and a warm articulate tone while still retaining plenty of bite and sizzle. I highly recommend for down tuning, and analog pedal use into any style amp. I will be testing with digital amp modeling soon. I was looking for a set of pups for my VB300. Best pickups for different types of metal
Don't be fooled of its medium output, the bridge pickup is a beast. And the neck is just right for soloing and clean/crunchy tones. Also, the bridge has total clarity in chords so you can play Twister with your fingers and every string will be noticed! Totally recommended!

Versatile and misleading
Just a great versatile set. The Sentient may be my fave of all the Duncans, bridge or neck, and the Pegasus is smooth yet harmonics just pop out easily. These pickups I think are misrepresented as metal pickups (much like the Screamin Demon). Sure, they can do metal, but they can do just about anything and do it very well. A set that flies under the radar, but its a shame. Articulate and clear, not too hot to become mud way too easily. If you are looking for more is better,than look elsewhere. If you want a set that you can dial in with many amps and tones and genres, look here!!Just a great versatile set. Amazing pickups!
These put stock pickups to shame! Even in a PRS SE Mira, the stocks are kinda muddy and dull. These pickups sound amazing! These 2 month old super dead strings sound all bright and sparkly with these! So clear and defined. And Pegasus: I've never heard such a chunky bridge pickup! Wow!
