    Great sound!

    I spent many hours reviewing, listening to many of the Duncan pickups, to be used in a guitar I was building. After countless hours, I chose the, Alnico II Pro Slash pickups. After installing them in my mahogany and maple toped Les Paul, I was actually even more pleased with the sound and tone of them. It has such clarity while playing in the clean mode, and that punch and growl in the overdrive mode. The pickups do not lack in output with the over wound pickups. So, if you're looking for that hard rock sound, or those mellow blues, these are what you're looking for. Turn on, turn up, and let-em go!
