Great seller. Fast shipping. open box item was new as described. Packaging a little banged up, but small price to pay to save a nice chunk of money on a really nice hihat stand. Thanks! Let me know when you get an open box snare stand in the same line :)

This seller was really excellent. I got a beautiful guitar, in perfect condition, (even though the seller pointed out the most minute little scratches), and at a great price. Fast shipping and great packing, too. Extremely happy with this purchase!! Thanks!!

Awesome! Got this for my husband for an early Christmas present and he loves it. Packed very carefully for shipping and exactly as described. Very happy with this awesome shredder! As a super added bonus, he has gotten it autographed by Michael Sweet himself at a recent acoustic concert meet and greet. Best gift I have ever given him, will never be able to top this. Totally happy with purchase and definitely recommend this seller. A++

    Good Bye Plastic Nut

This is a real good kit. Get your string spacing right, make sure of your dimensions. Be sure you have ordered a nut that is large enough that you can trim it down to fit. The instructions are super (a truly rare occurrence). This is not a drop-in thing. If you have the skill required to fine tune this to your instrument you will get great results. If you aren't sure, have your guitar tech do it. The price is right, so I suggest getting 2 if there's a chance you might mess-up. As always, measure twice, cut once, have fun.

A lot more work than had expected.

The factory slotting on my J 50 nut did not match those on the zero nut. I replaced the first 3 frets, as they had moderate fretting grooves from playwear. Unfortunately the guitar continued to buzz on the open E and B strings. I suspect the zero fret needs to be a bit taller. I will try raising my saddle before giving up. I like the easy tuning of the zero fret, also like the sound of open strings on the zero fret. At this point, Im thinking the work involved here isnt worth it. I will keep trying.

  • It’s not a plug and play thing. One has to work with it doing sanding and measuring. It seems the smallest fret wire is still too tall for thinline

This is not a plug and play item. One must sand and continually measure to fit the nut in the slot. It seems that the smallest fret wire is still too tall for my Fender Thinline. So I had to file it down to the correct height.

  • Great idea - solves a number of issues

The nut slot for the low E string on my Epiphone Sheraton was too low causing a buzz at the first fret. Since I had to replace the nut, I decided to try this idea and it worked great. It allows you to easily set the action at the first fret to the right height for your playing style. The result is all of the strings are positioned properly and there are no problems with intonation going out. Unlike a standard nut, with the strings resting on the zero fret, you don't have to worry about the strings working themselves into the nut slots and making it necessary to replace the nut again. When the zero fret does wear down (would take a long time I would think) you can just pop out the worn zero fret and pop in a new one. With proper first fret action, it also makes it much easier to fret bar ...

  • great upgrade at any cost will install more

this product ZERO GLIDE nut is GREAT very easy to follow instructions the slotted nut itself files and sands very evenly not like the TUSQ material which i have some expereance with the zero glide is real bone when sanding or filling go slow and check your progress often you have to be precise on the money once instaled with the fret in place make sure to us the fret that gives you the closest action at the first fret without getting any fret buzz my space was or is 0.008 us a feeller guage not a pick or match book cover you need to be on the money so take your time and the outcome will be awesome the ZERO GLIDE dose sound different though than say your standard type of nut no open strings all are freted now but i like the differance and it cleared up my intonation problem all in all its ...
