    Hot single coil

    This pickup is a hot single coil, great for sss strats in the bridge position. It gives a Richie Blackmore , Deep purple type sound. The pickup was used in a Mexican strat in the bridge and now the guitar is everything I expected from this guitar. Great addition to this guitar.

    A fantastic professional pickup.

    This pickup produces the famous sounds of Ritchie Blackmore of the band "Deep Purple". It is the one pickup that can get that lovely clean and powerful lead guitar tone in the song "When a blind man cries" & this pickup keeps that famous Strat tone even though it is a high gain pickup. This pickup is awesome for blues lead guitar and so much more. With these pickups, you'll get the difficult to find tones effortlessly and therefore this pickup makes playing songs so much easier.     Excellent!

    Definitely not a classic spanky strat sound, if you roll it back though it is close, but when it's wide open it screams! My quarter pound flat measures 15.2k-ohm - she's hot! Super thick creamy single coil sound. No regrets with this purchase at all. I run a tb4 trembucker in the bridge position with this quarter pound at the neck, it makes an excellent pair!

    this pick up is very smooth and big in volume a natural openness just what im looking for i have one of my hot rod T type guitar fitted with this pickup and i plan to out fit another one in one more of my custom build guitars...Eddie... : )
