Neck feels great, plays easy and toned up my Strat beyond my expectations.
You get what you pay for most often. This fender neck was an easy install though it needed some work on the nut that was to be expected. Frets are consistent in height and I was shredding it up in bout an hour. after installing locking tuning keys bolt onto guitar, file nut string slots for action height coming onto the fret board and enjoy. Roasted maple neck gave a new tone and life to my late 80's Stratocaster.You get what you pay for most often. This fender neck was an easy install though it needed some work on the nut that was to be expected. Slightly widens up the strings. Flatter fretting.
Great MIM "D" neck. Slightly thinner BUT slightly wider than my other MIM "C" necks. By about 1/16 of an inch, each way. The neck width on this MIM "D" is equivalent to my USA Strat necks. Both the USA "C" and the new USA Ultra "D" necks. So 43mm vs MIM 42mm roughly. Good luck.
