Don’t Put Gold On Guitars!
No one should be putting gold electroplated hardware on guitars. The plating will quickly wear off, leaving the base metal showing, and everyone already knows the parts are not solid gold, so what’s the point? Gold hardware on guitars, even when new, is always cheap and ostentatious looking, so why do it?
