Very high quality
I just put a set of these on a warmoth tele neck that I bought used from eBay. I expected a straight drop in replacement as the neck had no string trees and had obviously had staggered tuners of the vintage type on it previously. The only, minor, surprise was that the (absolutely beautiful) ferrules didn't want to sit right in. I used my bridge pin ream and gave them each a few twists and then set the ferrules in with a nice friction fit. The engineering on these parts is well done and they are very good value, worth the extra money for a new or high quality build. Review for squire strat bullet
Bought it for my squire stratocaster Bullet. I wanted to remove one of the three string guilds to look more fender stratocaster like. It works great. I did have to enlarge the existing hole for the rod for tuner. But easy drill mod. It makes it look very professional. Tuners work good and are good quality too.

Gotoh is one of my ‘go-to’ brands for affordable quality. These tuners make an excellent upgrade for cheap guitars. Be aware that some guitars have a thicker headstock than these tuners are designed for. They still worked for me but only just.

great upgrade over stock squier tuners 14:1 ratio, the extra turn on these 15:1 tuners is more precise, the staggered post helped intonation on D and G strings.

Diggin' the staggered vintage style tuners!
I've always liked vintage style tuners on a stratocaster, and Gotoh vintage style tuners have always worked great for me. This is my first time buying the staggered version. I'm currently not using a string tree, and they are working out just fine. I may consider adding a tree later, since I would still prefer to have the E and B strings a bit lower, but so far they're impressive.
