Nice spamly, but not thin sound. Very even output neck to bridge in any of the three positions. Really useable tone set. Bridge pick up is brighter, but still full. Definitely makes an inexpensive guitar sound a lot better. Excellent value and very versatile. I would buy another set.

I DO NOT GET ALL THE HYPE ABOUT THESE Pickups. They sound like a crappy import. Low output, no harmonic overtonens, really not worth the price. The original ones that came in the 51 nocaster are way better sounding.

The real star is that neck position... smooth top end, tons of usable mid frequency tonal range and nice thick bottom end. All the cliche tone words. Not to discount the bridge, which is worlds better than the ceramic magnet pickup I replaced. Recently played two vintage all original teles from the early sixties and imo this set of pickups sounded better.

I put these pickups on a Harley Benton T-30 to replace original pickups. These are the sweetest sounding pickups I've heard on a Telecaster type guitar. Not too harsh, very mellow, very clean sounding.

My Squier CV 50s Butterscotch Blonde was a nice sounding instrument once the tuners were upgraded, but after installing these NoCasters, it went from sounding like a fine instrument to sounding like a nice Tele. I've played American, Mexican, and Asian Teles since the 1990s; with these pickups in this little guitar, it's now one of my favorites to play.
