    This Body is The Way You Want to Go

    Gorgeous and fantastic craftsmanship. Everything fits, and the price range is very good. Holes pre-drilled and all in the right place. Accepts Fender licensed neck, I used a Warmoth, and all hardware fits well.

    Perfect

    Fender Strat bodies are completely out of stock in Australia until later in 2021. I was overjoyed to find this new one from Canada in perfect condition. Date on the neck is 1996 so it's already almost vintage ;) at 25 years old. The paint finish is perfect, the neck slot very snug. You have to drill the pickguard and output jack plate holes - not an issue. The neck bolt holes are slightly undersize for easy neck installation. The only thing I needed to change is that this body has none of the routed parts painted. Much older bodies had all these parts painted. As mine is a replica build, it needs to be perfect. As such I sprayed the tremolo pocket black to replicate the vintage look. It's much harder to copper foil line bare wood but as you can see, doable. Very happy.

    Building a Fender Stratocaster

    Building a Fender Stratocaster with this vintage SSS alder body. Black finish is flawless. Perfect fit between Fender neck and neck pocket. Predrilled for vintage tremolo. Have to drill holes for pickguard and back plate.

    REQUIRES VINTAGE SPACED BRIDGE!!!!!

    Good value on a genuine Fender Mexican body - just be sure to understand “vintage bridge mount” means wider string spacing, so modern spaced bridges will not work unless you either: 1) dowel and re-drill bridge mounting holes in the body, or; 2) use a bridge designed specifically to convert “vintage” (wide) string spacing to “modern” (narrow) string spacing. Measure the spacing of the mounting holes of the bridge you plan to use with this body before you buy it!!!

    Awesome quality.

    Way better than the bodies that come with assembled strats. You're better off buying all the genuine Fender parts and build it for the same cost as a new one but have the superior parts.
