Motorola Remote Mic was not new as described, produced in 2020 and had been used. We found debris in the grill area, the inside of the coiled cord is dirty, and the area above where the lapel clip goes is dirty/scratched. We are keep the mic, as it tests good, however, we are disappointed to find it was not "new, open box" as described. Seller responded: "I am sorry I had it in a box of stuff before mailing and I tried a clip I had."

    5500k Potentiometer from Fender.

    I installed two of these Fender pots in a Slimline telecaster style guitar with Wilkinson Humbucker pickups and the volume and tone both sound great. The pots vary the sound nicely.

    Not impressed!

    Not impressed!. Fender must really be getting greedy, since this is made in Tiawan not in the US. I have seen the same item on several sites and they are all the same with the same part number. It is difficult to turn. I had an alpha tone pot on my superstrat which worked much better, so I left it in place. This is supposed to be a authorized Fender replacement part. I did not take off the pickguard on my American strat, but hopefully it does not have these. CTS, Alpha and others are much better.

    Good pot, good value.

    I can't say anything bad about the pot. It's a bit stiff to turn as some have mentioned but it certainly isn't the stiffest turn I've felt in a pot. Otherwise it works fine. It has a brass shaft which I haven't seen before. I've only seen silver/zinc.

    Disappointed!

    I bought this because it had brass instead of pot-metal but its action is crappy, like it is not lubricated and moves jerky, without any smoothness. I am disappointed and will not consider buying this brand again. ~Adam
