Great Tuners but NOT a drop in replacement
One of the tuners on my Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet G5435 tuners stopped working. I purchased this set to replace the tuner. It was obvious as soon as I received them that these are better quality tuners than the ones on the guitar. They are heavier and feel more solid. However, when I went to replace the defective tuner, I noticed that the pole for the string was a little larger than the hole in the headstock. It's not a problem for me since I have the tools to enlarge the hole. I've now replaced all 6 tuners and they work very well. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it is NOT a direct drop in replacement.
